DR. BRIAN ABELSON
Best-selling author, practitioner, and instructor, Dr. Brian Abelson is the developer of Motion Specific Release (MSR). For over 25 years Dr. Abelson has been in clinical practice at Kinetic Health in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where he serves as an MSR Practitioner and Clinical Director. Dr. Abelson brings a strong background in a wide variety of musculoskeletal approaches both as a practitioner and as an instructor.
Each year to further grow his expertise, Dr. Abelson travels to various regions of the world to search for new ways to improve his skills. In addition to being a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Abelson is extensively trained in biomechanics, sports medicine, fascial manipulation, acupuncture and wide range of other soft tissue techniques.
On a personal level, Dr. Abelson believes in taking advantage of this beautiful world we live in. Dr. Abelson and his wife Kamali are very passionate about travel, culture, and the incredible natural diversity our planet presents. DR. EVANGELOS MYLONAS
“I believe in an integrated treatment approach because no single treatment method is right for all musculoskeletal conditions.”
Dr. Mylonas received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States (formerly Western States Chiropractic College) in 2001 and has had the privilege of treating patients in Canada as well as internationally. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and activity levels, whether it’s the amateur sport enthusiast or professional athlete, and treating musculoskeletal conditions ranging from acute injuries to enhancing sport performance.
Dr. Mylonas combines multiple soft-tissue and joint manipulative therapies with specific exercises to effectively treat and help resolve his patient’s conditions.
Outside of Kinetic Health, Dr. Mylonas enjoys travelling and spending time with his family, as well as, pursuing an active lifestyle.
DR. JAMILA ABDULLA
Dr. Jamila Abdulla graduated from Parker University in Dallas Texas with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree (DC).
She enjoys achieving the best results for patients by diagnosing, treating and preventing musculoskeletal conditions on a personal and individual basis. She maintains clinical excellence through the pursuit of ongoing professional education, including:

Dr. Abdulla has been active in many professional organizations including the Canadian Chiropractic Examing Board – having held team lead positions as well as being the assistant chief examiner. She has also assisted the Alberta College & Association of Chiropractors as a complaints investigator.
Toward her interest in personal health and athletic endeavors, Dr. Abdulla has achieved certification as a personal trainer, and trains for triathlons, having competed in numerous elite races (including Ironman Canada) throughout Alberta, BC, and the United States.
Patricia Milburn-Barile is a licensed Registered Massage Therapist with the Massage Therapy Association of Alberta and has been in practice for over seventeen years. Her practice mainly focuses in deep tissue therapy but also includes sports and repetitive strain injuries, headaches, neck pain, low back pain, sciatica, arthritis, fibromyalgia, TMJ syndrome, motor vehicle accident injuries, soft tissue dysfunction, muscle and joint pain.
Some of the techniques Patricia utilizes in her practice include: Trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, active and passive release techniques, facilitated stretching, muscle energy techniques, fascial release, deep tissue therapy, relaxation Swedish massage techniques and reflexology. Patricia has specialized training and has worked extensively with pre and post-natal massage.
Most people are unaware that Patricia is a certified NNEB Nursery Nurse from the UK, holds an advanced certificate in Canada as a early childhood educator, and is also certified as a pediatric massage therapist.
Patricia enjoys working with people of all ages and has trained in massage care for the aging population, with a strong knowledge of possible contraindications of certain medications that may affect a massage treatment. She also specializes in age related conditions like arthritis. Patricia has treated many children, ranging in age from young babies into teenage years within her busy practice.
Simon is a young man hailing from Disraeli, Quebec who has been calling Calgary his home since the day he could walk. Passionate for holistic medical approaches, he is looking to make his mark in the health and wellness industry. He is a graduate of the Mount Royal University massage therapy program and currently a member in good standing with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC).
Simon has extensive experience as an athlete himself and brings a unique perspective to his treatment in that respect. Believing strongly that the best results come from a cooperative team effort that includes both the practitioner and the patient.
In his spare time he enjoys catching up with friends, music, staying involved with the YYC drum troupe, providing massage at charity events to participants and pushing himself to learn something new everyday.
Miki Burton is a practicing Registered Massage Therapist in Calgary, Alberta. Her passion has always been to help people, which prompted her career in massage right after high school, in 2006 she graduated with a 2200 diploma. By utilizing her 11 years of knowledge Miki uses an integrative approach specializing in Sports, Swedish, Pregnancy, Deep Tissue, and rehabilitation massage.
Miki has lent her talents of fitness and modeling to Dr. Abelson and Dr. Mylonas for filming on their YouTube channel and for Dr. Abelsons various published writings.
As a wife and mother of 2 she enjoys spending her time with her family bike riding, swimming, doing fun 5K runs, and enjoying the wilderness camping.
